Your recycling supports families at RMHC St. Louis!
By collecting and recycling tab tops from aluminum cans, brass keys, or old electronics your recycling can be turned into a monetary donation that will keep families close in their time of need.
Whether you are collecting as an individual, school, organization, or corporation anyone can support RMHC St. Louis through recycling. Read on to learn what option fits you or your group best and start collecting today!
1. Collect Tab Top
People of all ages can collect aluminum tabs from beverage cans to support The House that Love Built! Thanks to our friends at Didion Orf Recycling, the tabs are recycled and turned into a monetary donation for RMHC St. Louis. Get started by reviewing the tab top collection guide. A limited supply of collection houses are available through RMHC, but we encourage you to use reusable bins that you can collect tabs year after year. Tabs can be dropped off year at the West County RMH or directly at Didion Orf. We encourage all Tab Top donors to join us for our annual collection event, Tab Top Pandemonium.
2. Electronic Recycling
Your old electronics can make a big difference for the families who use the Ronald McDonald House or Ronald McDonald Family Room programs here in St. Louis. Donated electronics will be recycled and turned into a monetary donation for RMHC St. Louis. Electronics can only be recycled at Didion Orf or in the spring at Tab Top Pandemonium. Click here to see what electronics can be recycled.
3. Vehicle Donation
By donating your car, truck, boat or RV to Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, you can help families with sick children stay close to each other and the care they need. On top of that, you can claim a tax deduction for your charitable donation. Learn more about our Vehicle Donation Program Here.
4. Keys to the Heart
Collect and donate your unused brass keys to one of our Houses through our Keys to the Heart Program. When you donate the keys, you no longer need, you open doors for families with seriously ill children (please note that keys must be stored separately from tabs when turned in).
