How to help for the Holidays
How You Can Help During The Holidays
Thank you for your interest in helping Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis during the holiday season. We have a variety of ways you can get involved to make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children and their families today!
Give The Gift of Togetherness
Sponsor A Family
Give the gift of togetherness by sponsoring a family or making a donation in someone’s memory or honor. Families staying at the Ronald McDonald House are asked to contribute a small donation per night for their stay. However, nearly 60% of our families are unable to pay due to mounting medical bills and other uninsured expenses. You can help by sponsoring a family’s stay or a portion of their stay. Donations of all sizes support our mission. Please click here to make a Season of Giving donation.
Send A Holiday Card or Holiday Insert
Seasonal Giving at RMHC
Let family, friends, coworkers and clients know you’re thinking of them this holiday season by making a gift to RMHC St. Louis. When giving a gift in someone's honor you can choose between our two designs for cards to mail it yourself. Warm hearts of your network and keep families utalizing our Ronald McDonald Houses and Family Rooms close when they need it most. Questions? contact Miya Andrews at 314-932-4116 or mandrews@rmhcstl.org

Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday, a Global Day of Generosity, is on December 3, 2024. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for people worldwide to stand together in unity—to use their power of generosity to remain connected and heal. People can show their generosity in various ways during Giving Tuesday—whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes, everyone has something to give, and every act of generosity counts.
Other Ways To Spread Holiday Cheer
Have A Meal Delivered
Most of our families spend the day at the hospital with their children. After many long, difficult hours, it’s a welcome gift for them to return to the House and find a home-cooked meal. To participate in our Meals from the Heart Program, click here.
Round-Up for RMHC
Every time you visit a McDonald’s restaurant, you can help support families with ill and injured children by choosing to Round-Up for RMHC when you place your order on the kiosk, at the counter, or in the drive-thru. It’s easy! To learn more, click here.
Recycle for RMHC
Decorating for the holidays? Don’t throw away your old or broken holiday lights – donate them instead in December! Thanks to Didion Orf Recycling, your old lights, and other electronics don’t need to collect dust. Once recycled, they will be turned into a monetary donation to RMHC St. Louis! Please drop them off today at 206 Didion Drive, St. Peters, MO. To learn more, click here.
