Jenny Schwartz

Jenny Schwartz serves as the Vice President of Operations overseeing patient experience and Women’s and Children’s services at Mercy Children’s Hospital. Over the course of more than three decades, she has held multiple leadership and clinical positions in nursing, contributing to the healthcare field in a variety of capacities. Since 1991, she has served as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Missouri, and since 2016, she has taken on the role of Nurse Executive NE-BC. Her experience includes not only direct patient care, but also executive responsibilities, program development, and professional education.

She has authored and presented on topics such as anticipating patient needs to minimize anxiety and implementing creative leadership models. Jenny is dedicated to improving the patient experience by fostering compassionate, patient-centered care and implementing innovative strategies that anticipate and address patient needs. Through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and ongoing professional development, she strives to create an environment where every patient feels valued, supported, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Through these varied roles—clinical nurse, executive leader, educator, and advocate—Jenny remains dedicated to advancing patient safety, nursing practice, and healthcare innovation.
