Dr. Phineas Oren

Phineas serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He is a Pediatric Intensivist by training and has had numerous leadership roles while practicing at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Mercy Hospital, and is very familiar with the special needs of families whose children are in the hospital.  He recently joined the Long-Range Planning Committee of Ronald McDonald House Charities in August of 2022. Phineas received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Pennsylvania and completed residency and fellowship training at Northwestern University School of Medicine. Outside of work, Phineas enjoys cycling, traveling, music, movies, and spending time with his two adult children, Alexander and Danielle.
