Dr. Hossain Marandi
Dr. Hossain Marandi serves as the President of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and System Vice President, Pediatric Services. Dr. Marandi is the lead executive for Cardinal Glennon Ministry, providing direction and oversight of the operational and clinical activities, including hospital and clinics, and leads the strategic development and direction for all pediatric services within the SSM Health System.
Dr. Marandi is a physician executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience at multiple children’s hospitals and a lifelong advocate for the wellbeing of children. A passionate and visionary leader, he is deeply committed to patient safety, improved access to care, and outstanding clinical outcomes.
Most recently, Dr. Marandi served as the President and Department Chief of Pediatrics at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Prior to that role, he held the positions of President and CEO of Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, and Vice President of physician services and executive medical director at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Marandi earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, his medical degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. A general pediatrician by training, Dr. Marandi completed his pediatrics internship and residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and University of South Florida where he also served as chief resident and clinical faculty.
